This week we did lots of alphabet review, and on Tuesday we did a fun activity for the letter X. We read an awesome book written by second grade students- how cool is that! And then we made our own x-rays! Students traced their hand onto a paper towel, filled in their bones with white glue, closed the towel and dripped black watercolor paint on the whole thing. It was a little messy, but so much fun! Next week is all about BATS & SPIDERS! We will be reading non-fiction and fiction texts about each, welcoming parent volunteers to the room (room moms are working on a schedule), and hopefully we'll finish up PALS and VKRP assessments.
