This week we did lots of fun Halloween things! We made a lava lamp for MAD Science Monday. The kids loved watching the bubbles as they dropped in the alka seltzer. Students enjoyed a guest visit from the fire department. We learned about the gear firefighters wear, how to do STOP, DROP and ROLL, and heard about all the tools on a fire truck. We watched Dem Bones and made skeletons out of noodles. Those will come home soon! In math we made patterns with skeleton dance moves. Then we taught our skeleton dance to the class. We also got to make fun x-rays with Mystery Doug. On Halloween Day the kiddos looked awesome in their comfy pajamas :)
